Tower Trials Is Now Live on Android

Launch day · 2 min read

Tower Trials is now available on Google Play. The original plan had Android arriving later, but 1.0.4 turned out to be a meaningfully stronger build than what would have shipped on the original date — a real branching map, reworked Dice Battles, a full Shop rebalance, and a stack of combat fixes — so rather than sit on that, Android launches now, with the more polished version from day one.

One tower, two platforms

You play as Nibs, a goblin scavenger climbing a hundred-floor dwarven tower where something at the summit promises to change what you are — if you survive long enough to reach it. Build your deck floor by floor from five distinct archetypes — Miner, Tinker, Brewer, Runes, and Wall. Commit to one for a powerful synergy engine, or splash between them; no two runs build the same deck. Everything that's been added since iOS launch — the branching 3-path map, the Rare Arts shop section, the rebalanced upgrades — is in the Android build from the start.

What's in at launch

  • 100 floors across 6 difficulty tiers, Normal through Impossible
  • Five archetypes, each a genuinely different deck
  • A real branching Tower map — 3 paths per floor that split and merge
  • Permadeath runs, with meta-progression that carries between them
  • Common mobs, elite guardians, and unique per-floor bosses
  • Free to play — one ad per floor cleared or on death, and a single one-time purchase that turns ads off forever

What's next

With both platforms live, the next big push is a full landscape-redesigned Steam/desktop port, alongside continued content and balance work on the tower itself. This is the version I wanted both platforms to launch with — thanks for climbing.
