Tower Trials Is Coming to Steam
Windows & macOS, in development · 3 min read
Tower Trials started as a mobile game, and it's staying one — but it's not staying only one. We're building a real desktop version for Steam: Windows and macOS, a genuine landscape redesign, not the mobile screen just stretched wider.
Why this is taking real time
A lot of mobile-to-PC ports are the same portrait screen with empty space bolted onto the sides. We didn't want that. Tower Trials on Steam is getting an actual landscape interface — the Tower, the combat screen, the whole UI, rebuilt for a mouse and a bigger canvas instead of just scaled up from a phone layout. That's slower than a straight port, but it's the difference between “technically works on PC” and something that's actually good to play on PC.
What's not changing
The hundred-floor climb, the five archetypes, the full card and relic pool, the story running underneath it all — none of that changes for Steam. It's the same Tower Trials, built to also feel right at home on a bigger screen with a mouse in hand.
Where things stand
We don't have a release date yet. This is still in active development, and we'd rather take the time to get the desktop experience right than rush a mobile port out the door. What we can say: it's actively happening — you'll see a Coming Soon badge on this site now, and a real Steam page is the next milestone once the desktop build is further along.
In the meantime, keep an eye on this blog — we'll post here the moment there's a release window, a Steam page to wishlist, or anything else worth sharing. Thanks for sticking with the climb.
